Since I first laid eyes upon it, the delicate petal shaped end of the Lelo Iris vibrator has worried me. While most pleasing to the eye, and beautifully aesthetic, I couldn’t help but worry about how those petals and ridges would feel inside me — you see, I’m not really a fan of textured sextoys. Nubbies and nodules, ridges and ripples — they don’t really do anything for me in terms of additional stimulation. Over the years, I’ve learned what I like, and generally, what I like is smooth. But Lelo had never let me down before, so when TabuToys offered it to me to try out, I couldn’t help but wonder if I would love the Iris.
The Lelo Iris is a special vibrator and has much in common with the Lelo toy I lust after most, the Lelo Elise. Both contain two vibrating centers — one in the tip and one at the base for dual stimulation at both of a woman’s pleasure centers. I’m both a G-spot and clitoral stimulation kind of girl, so as you can imagine, I couldn’t wait to see how it felt. Like other Lelo vibes, the Iris is made of beautiful silicone that is velvety soft to the touch and a tactile dream against the skin. It’s rechargeable with a three hour charge providing up to four hours of fun, and comes with a silky satin bag to store it inside — always a plus at my house where anything without a case quickly becomes covered in cat hair.
Right off the bat, I was surprised by how big the Lelo Iris is. After playing with both the Lelo Liv and Lelo Gigi, I was expecting something more in line with those smaller vibes and both the length and girth of the Iris really surprised me — this is a massive vibe! The girth made it a little uncomfortable for me to insert — even after some clitoral stimulation, I still needed some additional lubrication. I don’t usually need any additional lubrication — even with larger toys, I’m usually wet enough by myself. But with the Lelo Iris, I really felt like I needed something more — I could feel the ridges of the Iris inside me, and not necessarily in a good way. It felt good on the downstroke, but oddly enough, it was withdrawing it that felt weird.
With a little more lube, the Iris was a lot more comfortable, but thrusting it in and out of me never felt…right. The different strengths and settings were wonderful — the two vibrating centers felt great and the fourth setting was probably my favorite one. But, I just couldn’t get over the ridges on the end. I guess that I’m a girl who loves smooth vibrators — ridges and my pussy simply do not get along. That said, I think the Lelo Iris could be a great vibrator for someone else who appreciates more texture on their toys. Personally, I’d love to try something with the wonderful girth of the Iris but with the smooth curved end of the Gigi — who knows, maybe the Elise will be more to my taste?

Great product!
You have to try many differnt vibrators to find the one thats right for you.
You should try another vibrator.
Finding the right vibrator can be a daunting task. Sometimes you have to look for the right sex shop to sell you the right toy.
