Ooh la la — the Lelo Gigi!

Any­one who reads my blog knows how much I love Lelo — they don’t just make sex toys, they make the best lux­ury sex toys on the mar­ket! So it came as a sur­prise to real­ize that I didn’t actu­ally own one of their stel­lar vibra­tors — I own the Lelo Lily, but I hadn’t tried out any of the insertable vibra­tors though I’d heard good things. So, when VibeRe­view offered to send me the Lelo Gigi g-spot vibra­tor to try out, I knew I was in for a real treat!

I love the beau­ti­ful pack­ag­ing that every Lelo toy comes in — when you open the box, you know you’re deal­ing with qual­ity. I also love that every Lelo vibra­tor is rechar­gable! In this day and age where we try to live green, I think more com­pa­nies should fol­low Lelo’s exam­ple and make their toys rechar­gable. When I first opened the box and laid eyes on my Lelo Gigi, I was sur­prised by how small it was. For some rea­son, I expected it to be a lit­tle larger, but it’s about the same size as the Lelo Ella (Lelo’s g-spot dildo). Like every Lelo toy, it comes with a recharg­ing cord, a satin bag to keep it in, a one-year war­ranty and an instruc­tion man­ual. Just plug the vibra­tor in until it’s fully charged up, and you’re good to go for sev­eral hours of fun!

The Lelo Gigi is soft — the silky sil­i­cone that cov­ers the flat angled head and shaft is sooo soft. I couldn’t stop touch­ing and stroking it — it is amaz­ingly tac­tile. I would advise any­one to get to know the con­trols before you turn it on and try it out — I made the mis­take of not learn­ing them, I acci­den­tally locked the con­trol pad (a handy fea­ture when you’re trav­el­ing), and it took me a lit­tle bit to fig­ure out how to unlock it. I ended up hav­ing to dig out the instruc­tions halfway through — for­tu­nately that didn’t totally kill the mood, LOL! The plus and minus but­ton increase the strength of the vibra­tions, and the up and down arrows cycle through a num­ber of dif­fer­ent modes. I tried out a cou­ple of dif­fer­ent set­tings before set­tling on straight vibra­tions — and the Lelo Gigi is  strong lit­tle vibra­tor! I started out using it on my clit, but slowly worked it inside me to where the flat head laid against my g-spot.

Oh my god, it felt amaz­ing. The vibra­tions trav­eled down the silky shaft and the flat angled head was in the per­fect posi­tion for max­i­mum plea­sure. Though I am a female ejac­u­la­tor, I rarely make myself squirt unless I’m using the Hitachi Magic Wand. But with the Gigi, thrust­ing it in and out of me — it felt so good and I gushed every­where! Foun­tains of liq­uid cas­caded down my thighs — I was so sur­prised. I’m not sure I’ve ever made myself squirt like that! I do wish the vibra­tor was a lit­tle longer, though. By the time I had it per­fectly placed, I had quite a bit of the vibra­tor inside me, includ­ing some of the plas­tic beyond the metal ring. I was wor­ried that I’d swal­low up the con­trols, but they stayed just out­side my body.
