Stepping through the security clearance point, she scans the crowd for his face, desperation etched on her features. Near the point of exhaustion, she pushes herself forward, knowing that each moment brings her closer to his arms. She checks the baggage area –still no sign of him. A sob wells up deep within her chest and threatening to overwhelm her. Tears begin to leak from the corners of her eyes and her shoulders sag with defeat.
Strong arms encircle her waist from behind. Dropping her luggage with a clatter, she spins in his embrace, every ordeal of the last 24 hours fading beneath the touch of his lips to hers…
