Climax Bursts Aphrodisiac Enhanced Lube

I’ve been want­ing to try the new line of Cli­max bursts lubri­cants by Topco ever since they first appeared on the mar­ket. Each lube fea­tures tiny cap­sules sus­pended within the lubri­cant that are sup­posed to pop on con­tact, adding a lit­tle some­thing extra to the expe­ri­ence. I tried the Cli­max Bursts Aphro­disiac Enhanced whose tiny beads con­tain vit­a­min E and nat­ural herbal aphro­disi­acs like Yohimbe and Horny Goatweed.

First of all, I just want to say that I love the pack­ag­ing. After deal­ing with slip­pery fin­gers and slip­pery lids, I won­dered why more lubes don’t come pack­aged like this. Sim­ply pop the ring up and squeeze to get the per­fect amount of lube. When you’re fin­ished, just pop the ring back down to seal the bot­tle. So much eas­ier to do with lube slip­pery fin­gers than screw­ing and unscrew­ing lids or try­ing to get a grip on flip-top containers.

I wasn’t sure about the tiny microbeads. Hav­ing had bad expe­ri­ences with prod­ucts con­tain­ing microbeads, I wasn’t sure how they would work in a lube. But, the magic word turned out to be “micro”. Since the beads were so tiny, they popped on con­tact with­out leav­ing any not­i­ca­ble plas­tic shell or residue behind. And since this lube is water-based and glycerin-free, I was able to try it out with my favorite sil­i­cone toys. While I love the silk­i­ness of sil­i­cone lubes, I hate not being able to use them with the major­ity of my toys.

I don’t know about the aphro­disiac effects…we tried the lube in var­i­ous con­fig­u­ra­tions, but we didn’t really notice any addi­tional aphro­disiac effect. The lube was nice and silky and stayed slick for as long as we needed it through both vagi­nal and anal sex– in fact, it’s one of the lubes that we reach for most fre­quently on our night­stand, though that’s really because of the easy to use con­tainer rather than any addi­tional oomph that it provides.

So, over­all, Cli­max Bursts Aphro­disiac enhanced was a pretty good lube, easy to use and com­pat­i­ble with the major­ity of my toys, but I’m not sure that it added any­thing addi­tional through any­thing aphrodisiac.
